Building on more than thirty years of diverse experiences in the maritime industry, Michael A. Allen founded Allen Maritime in 1999 seeking to grow a premier marine consultancy around the maritime transportation and petrogas industries. Master of DP support vessels and Transocean's legendary 5th Generation DP-3 drillship, the Deepwater Pathfinder, Capt. Allen was soon joined by Richard Smith, another seasoned veteran from the dynamic positioning community. Today, thier extensive experience with DP is harnessed regularly by a growing clientele of industry leaders. Working with the likes of Noble Denton Marine, J.F.Moore International, and Global Maritime, AMI regularly take's on key roles in world-class marine & oilfield projects...often at the behest of industy giants such as Royal Dutch Shell, Exxon-Mobil, and British Petroleum.
